EMMA WILLIAMS started her professional stage career as Truly Scrumptious in
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (opposite Michael Ball and Richard O'Brien) and created the
role of Christine Keeler in A Model Girl. Emma has
most recently been seen playing Johanna in Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Royal Festival Hall with Bryn Terfel.
When not annoying her neighbours with her constant singing she can be
found studying hard for her OU degree, cover-teaching dance classes
for friends and generally running around like a headless chicken.
Emma also dabbles in TV and film, most notably the award-winning Bleak House for BBC, and the hit Steve Coogan film The Parole Officer.
Her musical tastes are... eclectic at best. She reads copiously and
has a serious chocolate habit. She's delighted to be joining the team
as a presenter, if only so that she can indulge in her favourite hobby
- talking!
Emma's most recent project was playing the title role in the world première production of Desperately Seeking Susan at the Novello theatre.
